When I was a child, I was fascinated by magic, and obsessed with the likes of Harry Blackstone Jr. and David Copperfield. I wore a cape and had a wide variety of objects stuffed up my sleeves as I performed for aunts, uncles, and grandparents at family get-togethers. And even as I grew out of magic tricks, I never really grew out of magic. I became a storyteller and eventually a marketer, and I’ve always seen Search Engine Optimization as its own type of magic.
From copy to site structure to back links, you combine together all these different elements, both seen and invisible, to create something extraordinary. So, part of my job is to make the magic happen, but it’s also to demystify the process and to help you create a concrete online plan.
I’ve been involved in digital marketing for over 10 years, working primarily in copywriting and SEO, but no matter what I do, my job always comes down to driving traffic to websites. While good SEO does seem like magic, it’s all based on optimizing the site with relevant keywords and creating an online strategy that’s right for your business. I’ve worked in lead generation with hundreds of web properties ranging from beauty to transportation, and have track records of results.
Copywriting services include website landing pages, blog posts, brochures, newsletters, emails, product descriptions, & more. But I’m also known for my former pop culture blog, Wolf Gnards, which has been featured on sites like The Huffington Post and The Guardian. I have an MFA in writing from School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) and was awarded SAIC’s writing fellowship for an early version of my e-novel Zimmerman Lives!
